Zach Taylor - UX Designer
I’m a passionate UX Designer with a knack for turning complex challenges into seamless, user-friendly experiences. With a background in working with multiple fintech companies, I specialize in transforming highly regulated, intricate systems into intuitive designs that users can easily navigate and trust.
For me, UX isn’t just a design discipline, but also a mindset. From crafting a brand’s story through design to creating end-to-end user-focused experiences, I believe that exceptional UX is what separates great businesses from the good. In the fast-paced world of fintech, where compliance and usability must go hand in hand, I thrive on delivering designs that balance functionality, clarity, and delight.
I approach every project with curiosity, empathy, and a drive for simplicity, breaking down complicated processes and reimagining them as accessible, meaningful interactions. With a strong belief that UX is all around us, I see every project as an opportunity to make a lasting impact.
A Wedding, a Graduation, and Three states
2024 was a year of incredible milestones for me and Kelly. It all began in March with our wedding, a celebration of love and commitment after seven wonderful years together. Surrounded by our closest friends and family, we tied the knot and marked the beginning of a new chapter in our lives.
Our celebration, though joyful, was short and sweet, as Kelly needed to return to Omaha to complete her academic year at Creighton School of Medicine. In May, she achieved another significant milestone by graduating as a doctor, ready to take on the next challenge: residency.
As we awaited Match Day, we couldn’t help but wonder where the next three years would take us. The excitement reached its peak when Kelly matched with Valley Medical’s residency program in Renton, Washington.
From there, the whirlwind began. We packed up Kelly’s things in Omaha and had them shipped to Seattle. Before settling in, we flew to San Diego for a much-needed honeymoon, where we took some time to unwind and reflect on everything we’d accomplished. Afterward, we packed up my belongings in San Diego and made the final push for our big move to Seattle.
2024 was a year of love, growth, and new beginnings, and Kelly and I are ecstatic that those beginnings are in Seattle.
